EASIEST WAY TO TRANSLATE/ COVERT A SCAN OR PICTURE INTO EDITABLE TEXT

You have a picture with texts or a scanned document and you want to extract all the text from that.

This is a very common question and not many people know how to do that. There are many softwares and online sites which will do this. You also can search on Google as OCR( Optical Character recognition) and many options will come up including paid softwares.

 But I will show you the one easiest and hassle free way to perform this task. Here we go..

• First, you should have Microsoft Office OneNote (I think this is in very Microsoft Office package).

• Second, Open MS OneNote and just copy paste the picture or scanned document in it. (Don’t worry even if you don’t know how to use OneNote. It’s like sheets of open canvas and very easy to use).

• Third, Right Click on the pasted picture or scanned document and an option will come as “COPY TEXT FROM PICTURE”. Click on it.

And Voilà..You can paste the text right there in OneNote or Word or excel anywhere!!

Note: This will not work in very complicated fonts. Check and re-read whether it needs editing or organizing.
